Capri - 1898

Blue and dark blue ground with a silver, semi-opaque, iridescent finish with a "brushed on" appearance.

Decor identified by Aleš Král and Warren Gallé

Note: Several notations of "Capri" can be found in the Loetz production notes but only one color, "blau Capri", is mentioned. Usually, when a color is specified in the production notes describing a decor, it denotes a ground color and signals that other ground colors were also produced in that decor. At this time, we have been unable to document an example of "Capri" in a ground color other than blue. It is also possible that "Capri" and "blau Capri" were used to simply denote two colors of blue.
