DEK 361 - 1911

Design by Adolf Beckert for the 1912 Spring Exhibition in Vienna . Ground is crystal marvered at an angle ("schief gewaltz") with a light iridescence and decorated with a large medfalian of a peacock painted by Franz Wilms.

Note: An original drawing of Beckert's design for DEK 361 to be drawn on PN II-7775 can be found in the Passau Glas Museum's book, "Das Bohmische Glas", volume IV, pg 139. This drawing came from the possession of Otto Wilms, son of Franz Wilms, who painted the design according to Beckert's illustration onto the glass.
