Pfaufedern Neu- 1925

These examples are technically considered an "Unknown Décor" but are referred to as "Pfaufedern New" because the decor is a later reinterpretation of the peacock decor and likely produced during Loetz's Series III production era c1920's, 30's & 40's.  This décor is characterized by a dark blue ground with cobalt or ruby ground with cobalt; decorated with silver iridescent peacock feathers.

Decor identified by Bill Fitzsimmons. (Note: this decor was originally classified as being Ausf 244. However, after researching the production numbers for Ausf 244, it became clear that Ausf 244 is a decor that was made "mit Kakteen" or with cactus and not peacock eye and feathers)
