PG 1/214 - 1901

Blue opal ground; trailing of greenish threads and two irregularly pulled silver-yellow bands.

Note: The decor description for PG 1/214 is located on pg 305, below photo B-122, in "Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880-1940", Neue Galerie New York 2003.  The example shown in the photo "B-122" is located in the PGM and two photos of this vase appear here.  Based on the PGM vase, we have found other examples that match this decor, however, the ground colors vary.  At this time, there is only one production number that documents PG 1/214 in the published Loetz archives. Unfortunately, we do not have a photo of this decor produced in that production number so we cannot officially document this decor or the various ground colors that may have been produced in PG 1/214.
