Décor variants

Note: These examples are technically considered an "Unknown Décor"

In the PGM these decor variants are placed on the same shelf as the PG 1/844 examples. This is not to say that either the PGM or we believe that these examples are "variants" of PG 1/844.  We believe that they have been grouped together because the construction of both decors is similar - thick threads are applied onto a silberiris body to create either a chain design as exhibited in the PG 1/844 decor or legs in the case of the "variants".

This décor comes in either a Candia ground with a Silberiris finish and a thick Crete glass ribbon decorated with 3-4 silver-yellow threads that is applied and drawn along the body of the vase and into feet OR a Crete glatt variation also with applied ribbons and feet but in the same color as the ground color.
